Pool Niche & Wall Fitting Compatibility
This light is designed to fit seamlessly into existing Pentair housings as well as standard pool plumbing infrastructure.
Pentair GloBrite Niches: Fits directly into Pentair gunite, fiberglass, and vinyl liner GloBrite niches.
Standard Return Lines: Compatible with standard pool wall return fittings, including 1.5" FIP (Female Threaded) or 1.5" slip fittings.
Pool Automation & Controller Compatibility
Because our lights are programmed with the Pentair IntelliBrite color wheel sequence, they integrate perfectly with modern digital pool automation systems.
Compatible Digital Automation Systems:
Pentair Automation: Compatible with IntelliTouch and EasyTouch systems. (Note: You must set the system's circuit function to IntelliBrite).
Jandy Automation: Compatible with AquaLink RS and iAquaLink web systems. (Note: You must configure the Light Type/Aux setting to IntelliBrite).
Other Digital Systems: Works with some other digital controllers (such as Hayward OmniLogic) that supports a custom Pentair or IntelliBrite LED lighting profile.
Manual Wall Switch Control:
Compatible with standard toggle light switches. To manually cycle through color shows, flip the wall switch off and on within 2 seconds.
Non-Compatible Controllers:
Manual Dial Switches: This light is not compatible with older mechanical dial-style color selectors. Mechanical wheels cannot transmit the digital power pulses required by LED pool lights.
Electrical & Voltage Requirements
Critical Voltage Warning: This is a 12V AC low-voltage pool light. It requires a pool-rated 12V safety transformer for installation. Connecting this light directly to a 120V line voltage or house current will permanently damage the unit.
